hi y'all! I'm new to Iowa but not new to the board or couponing. We shop at Hy-Vee in Iowa Falls, Eldora & Marshalltown. I also like Fareway. (I miss my Kroger stores though!)

I've noticed that the people in Iowa are very neighborly- love the community spirit in this area!

Well to all of you along the DSM, Raccoon, and Mississippi rivers, take care. I have family in DSM, and down stream in the Chillicothe, Ottumwa areas I'm trying to get in contact with. Put those coupon binders in a giant ziploc!!

Columbus, Nebraska. Our HyVee has wonderful one day sales on Thursdays (usually) with lots of warehouse closeouts, so I stock up like crazy--past week I've gotten Kotex pads and liners for $.99 each, with $1 off coupon from inserts=free!!

Council Bluffs, IA here. Omaha, Bellevue, etc - hop skip and jump away.

They only local grocery stores I can find are Walmart (where I usually shop since its closest), Bottom Dollar (more expensive than Walmart, despite the name), and Hy-Vee. I've never been to a Hy-Vee before. Checking out this thread because I'm going to shop there on Monday :o)

Iowa falls is where I do most or shopping. I do go to Ames is I need organic things since they have a bigger selection.
