I am from Lawrence, KS. If HY-Vee doesn't start having better deals I cannot call myself a Hy-Vee shopper.

I agree, Hyvee does not have the best deals around. Sometimes they do though. About a month ago I was able to get probably 20 packs of hot dogs and Hillshire farm lunch meats free!!! However, the deals are few are far between.

Last good deal there for me was the Ball Park Hot dogs/Sara Lee Buns but I didn't do it enough!! Was sick one of the days I planned to go back & then the sale was over.

Davenport IA is where my hyvee stores are. I live in Eldridge.

I dont shop at Hyvee very often because they are higher priced and only occasionally have excellent deals. They do, however, carry the chicago tribune and thats where I get half of my inserts!

No stores in my area double...and it stinks. the closest store that doubles is Kroger in Sterling, Il, which is about an hour away.
