Yeah the cereals have Cars2 Codes on them (make sure to get the specially marked packages). Also for a while now there have been peelies on Kellogg's for $1 off fresh fruit when you buy 2 cereals (all the above except Apple Jacks are listed on the peelie). So if you can get a $1/2 on those cereals, or even the $1/3 from the insert, $1 off fruit, and a $5 gas card or $5 concession cash WYB 4 cereals, the cereal is basically free. Or a little better than free. I'm stocking up on cereal!
***Note: $1/2 or $1/3 on cereal plus $1 off fruit WYB cereal WILL beep. I always save my $1 off fruit to the end and explain to the cashier why they beep and almost every time they go ahead and push them through.

I was looking at some of the 2 day sale items:
$0.59 for the special mac-n-cheese, plus I had just traded for some $0.25/1 coupons, and had some Kraft booklet $0.55/2 - used those all up this morning. I hope my kids like the white cheddar, spirals, etc that I got. If they don't... too bad! The thick n creamy is pretty good too, I forgot to get some of that.

$0.99 Ken's salad dressing - our paper had $1 off, it was either 5/1 or 5/8. These ring up as $1 coupons without beeping because of the register programming on the limit 3 of the sale (only 3 per transaction will ring up at the $0.99 price). So, $0.01 overage. But again, only 3 per transaction!

$1.28 for 24 oz cottage cheese is almost the best price you ever see (the last time I got a bunch of cottage cheese was $0.99 on a Hy Vee 1 day sale). Watch those expirations. I picked up some first that expire 6/10 (yes it's good later than that, but I prefer to have it as far out as possible though my kids eat cottage cheese like crazy so usually I don't have to worry). Behind those were some that expire 6/20.

$1.88 for Tostitos - I went this morning and this is including all the special kinds. Multigrain scoops, scoops, artisan recipe, touch of lime, etc etc. (10 oz bags). I had a $1/2 Frito Lay natural snacks (Tostitos are pictured on it) from an insert, but it didn't come out here I got it from a trader. So I picked up a couple of bags for $1.38 each.

Hy Vee is my store of choice this week!

In Des Moines, IA, they have a deal going where you can get Bar S jumbo franks for a dollar a pack. This is listed on the part of the add page with all of the ten for ten items. This may be in all the weekly adds since I saw all of the deals mentioned here in my local ad. I didn't have to buy ten to get the deal, it rang up as 1 @ 10 for 10. I used the coupon at this link Welcome to Bar-S! Only the best is branded Bar-S™ :: Bar-S Makes Hot Dogs, Bacon, Bologna, Smoked Sausage, Hams and Lunchmeats to get 2 packs of hot dogs for 50 cents each.

Yes, there was an insert coupon for $1/2 Franks or Bologna 16 oz. I had a Bar-S certificate so I used that instead... but $0.50 a package is a pretty good deal. They were actually a bit cheaper at our Kroger store....
