The hyvee flyer has a coupon for buy 4 get 2 free of the snickers peanut butter squares (on sale before Q 4/$2). I also have a manfQ for buy 2 get 1 free of the peanut butter squares. Could I get 6 and use both coupons?

Yes, one is a store coupon and one is a manufacturer coupon so you can use both.
I actually bought 6, used two of the B2G1 free coupons, and used the store coupon so I got 6 for $1!!!!
