Anyone else's Hy Vee doing Tuesday Only specials?

Keep your eyes peeled for a flyer, just wondering if they are. There's another (small local) store here in town that does Tuesday specials so I am wondering if this is only at our store.

Any kind of 12 pack of soda $1.99 (limit 1) has been on it for Jan and Feb. Several other really good deals, but most are limit 1 or limit 2 (Blue Bunny pints $1 limit 10).

I wasn't sure if it would continue in Feb, (with the 12 packs) but I'm glad I got some of the Safeway Joy Of Football coupons for $0.75/1 7up/A&W 12 packs. A&W Cream Soda is a favorite around here.

My store usually does some sort of special for the week but the days and items vary. This week it's a 3 day sale Fri-Sun. Last week it was a 2 day sale Sat-Sun.

Topeka Hyvee has been doing a daily special, i.e. Monday is 1.99 pepsi, Tuesday is .88 eggs, etc. I saw the flyer for Feb, but I don't remember what days are what specials.

I don't know about the rest of you but I dislike the specials limited to a day or two. I sometimes forget to make a note on my list that the item is only on sale for a certain day and I spend time trying to track it down in the store, or I can't get out of the house that day etc. I know it's probably a good marketing ploy but it irritates me.

The one item every day of the week irritates me because I find it really hard to keep track of those, and usually they are limited as to the quantity you can get, so it's not worth it to go there just for that deal. Since there's a whole page of things on their Tuesday deals, it's usually good for me to go one week, when they have lots of other stuff I want too, and get them. Just wondering if that was local, looks like it is.

It's so interesting to me, I guess the stores must be operated locally to some degree (they say employee owned but I always thought that was just that employees get shares or something like that). They have had specials here that I don't think they have anywhere else. I know it's for this store only when there's a special insert in the ad that talks about this store specifically, but this flyer for Tuesday specials didn't have anything about this store on it.

This area is having a one day sale on Thursday this week(which would be today). Are any of your stores doing that sale too? Too cold and too much snow for me to want to get out plus nothing worth going for. Although their regular ad was pretty good this week.

Yes we have the Thursday only sale. Cottage cheese was the only thing I was really excited about. Yeah it's pretty cold out there! Probably burn as much in gas as you would save making the trip!
