What were the big deals last spring? Anybody remember? Trying to think ahead to what coupons to look for :)
Always ISO coupons for: Mahatma rice, Keebler townhouse crackers, Kraft singles & Huggies or Pampers Baby Wipes!
my store keeps having unadvertised mark downs on random items.
Yesterday I got:
instant cream of wheat with sponge bob on the package for free after the 1/1 coupon, it was on price to decline for .99,
pillsbury brownie mixes were on price decline for 1.09 bought in groups of 2 and used 1/2 coupon that expires 1/31, so .59 each,
the horizon milk single serve are 1.09 use the 1/1 horizon product printable= .09 each.
The coke is .88, i used bogo free coupon from recycle bank so .44 each.
Wholly guacamole was on sale 2.50 used the 2/1 printable so .50 each.
I had a pretty good run at hyvee this week didn't buy much from the 10/10 sale, but there were plenty of other good deals. Although i was going there mainly for the .69/lb eggplant and they were completely out so i couldn't make it for dinner last night.
I've been getting pretty good meat deals at Hy Vee, and every once in a while they run $0.99 1/2 gallons of milk. But I think we get special ads and promos because there is a lot of grocery store competition in this small town. It's funny, they often have a Thursday, Friday sale and then a Saturday, Sunday sale or this week it's a Thursday, Friday sale and a Thursday-Sunday sale at the same time. And they've started specials on Tuesdays, because another store runs $0.29 a lb bananas on Tuesdays so now Hy Vee is doing it too, with other stuff added in.
Anyway, yeah, usually I can't shop there very much but every time I do go I either find a great unadvertised deal, or some great coupons! (honey peelies with NED anyone?)
