HyVee ~ Question: Sunshine/Keebler 50% off?

This is on the back of the current week's ad. Has anyone tried it yet? I was there today and my Cheez Its did not ring up 50% off (the shelf was not marked, but the price for the medium size box was $3.50 which is NOT 50% off regular price). The cashier was clueless and I did not have time to talk to Customer Service or a manager about it.

Please let me know if you get this deal to work and what the prices are!

I called the store yesterday to see if it had just been a mistake that they weren't 50% off on Wednesday. The CS person said yes, they were all marked 50% off. So I went back and here's what I found (Manhattan KS)

Small (9 oz) Cheez its (regular, low fat, white cheddar) $1.49
Medium (13.7 oz) Cheez its (all varieties) $2.09
Keebler cookies $1.99
except the animal cracker bags and Nilla Wafers I think were $1.84 or something like that
Ritz crackers $1.99
Ritz pretzel thins $1.99
Ritz crackerfuls $1.99
Town House Crackers $1.99
Wheat thins $1.99 (all varieties)
Triscuits $1.99

had to go over to the cereal aisle for the Rice Krispie Treats but those didn't seem to be marked 50% off, even though they were pictured in the ad.

I was also considering some of the multipacks which were $2.99 for the 100 calorie packs (12 in the box) but the multipacks coupon said 14 oz or greater and those were 12 oz I think? I know they were fewer oz and I did not see any bigger multipacks.

OK for you very experienced couponers out there, is this a rock bottom price on Cheez its or do you think they will go even lower before the q expires???

Hyvee is RARELY known for rock bottom prices, so I would get what you NEED and save the rest for a better deal elsewhere. JMO

That's what I had noticed too. It seems like Hy Vee puts things on sale right when the coupons come out, to try and get people in there, but I often see them cheaper later at other places. Thanks. I ordered some qs and I will hold onto those.

the famous amos sandwhich cookies are a pretty good deal: 1.39 use 1/2 and they end up being .89 a package

also the keebler crackers- 8 pack multi packs and there is a 1/2 for those as well, they ended up being under 1.00 each as well.

The rice krispies were less than 1.00 a/c and discount, but they were all out, so i got a rain check.
