I went just after midnight to get the cheese and bananas since it was my first opportunity to do so. I got the sale prices, but the cat didn't print. I was bummed, but it was worth the shot. The cashier was a bit grouchy about it in the first place and told me he didn't think they would ring up the sale price. Live and learn.

you should have gotten the cat. I know at walgreens I never check out just after midnight, because that's when the cat machines update, and they sometimes don't print. Either that, or the cat machine wasn't on. I would go back and ask them about it. Worst case- you have to contact Catalina to get reimbursed.

Someone posted the details earlier on this deal:

I can't believe how much cheese I got with the rolling catalina. I should tattoo Kraft on myself or something. Anyway the coupon book would be lots better if the limits on things were like 5 instead of 1 but I like the $5/$50 coupon. That was nice!

I gave my $5 off to my MIL, i won't spend $50 unless i have meds to fill. She said she was no where near $50 checking out and her total was like $50.22 Because i went w/ her i saved her over $13 that she wouldn't have saved. Not much to save but she was thrilled because she only ever saves around $4 if that in coupons.
