Baby Bucks

I received a catalina today for Baby bucks. I spent $14.17 on baby items (pre-coupons, only $7.42 after!) and received a baby buck for $14.17. When you spend $150 on baby items between now and Dec 31, 2008 you get a $10 Hyvee GC. You have to save the catalina's that print out. I wish they'd been doing this all along and back when I was buying a ton of formula and baby food!

I've been getting Baby Bucks for several years, at least. In fact, they had an earlier version of this promotion where the bucks expired awhile back. As I recall, the earlier versions of this promotion gave you a shorter time to collect and redeem the bucks. Now, they don't expire for several years, but you have to collect more of them to redeem.

The bizarre thing is that I don't have a baby, but I buy baby wipes regularly to use in art-making. It means, though, that I probably won't buy enough to redeem by the deadline, unless Hy-Vee has some super-great deal on baby wipes and I decide to majorly stock up.

I've been buying baby products at Hy-vee for 5 years and never once got any baby bucks! That's why I asked how long this had been going on. I haven't bought anything (baby related) in about 3 or 4 weeks, so I thought maybe it just started. Again, this may be a regional thing. I have found that a lot of the stuff that seems to be everywhere else is almost never here!

My mom gets these when she buys baby aspirin for my grandmother. i have 3 kids, but I rarely ever buy anything 'baby' anywhere. And you have to spend soooooo much money to get the free $$.

If anyone wants to trade theirs I will take them!! I have about 30 baby bucks so far and would love to collect more..

I think it just started or at least here it did. I've been buying baby stuff at Hyvee for years and I have NEVER received a baby buck. This was the first time and I bought baby stuff last month as well.

wow, our hy-vee has been doing baby bucks since we opened in 2002. sucks that yours just started. i just sent 1050 with dh to trade in today. it's great because you still get the baby bucks for money paid with coupons and formula checks so we've really only spent maybe 1/2 of that on baby stuff, they add up quick too.

I have never received baby bucks either. I have shopped there for several baby items several times since DD was born in Dec. In fact, I just bought Enfamil last night and no baby bucks. I don't get it??
