| ? about the new HyVee q policy-New info in last post! I didn't know if it was okay to reply under the FAQ so I thought I'd ask here, move if you need to
It says the two IPs they will NOT allow are Frees and $2.50+. I have those free Nabisco ones from the Superbowl thing but they look just like IPs, so I'm guessing I shouldn't bother at HyVee? And who wants to bet cashiers are going to misinterpret that to mean ALL free qs???
And can I just say that I am NOT happy with that policy :hectic1: I have never ever used a fraudulent q, not even by accident, and now I'm being punished for it. And umm, there have been several fraudulent IPs under $2.50, Colgate anyone? I don't have many options to redeem my qs and now I have even less! Well I guess County Market is the last store standing, wish me luck tomorrow gals (and guys!) Think it'd make any difference to shoot em an email expressing my displeasure with their policy? Vent over

Or they will think some of the qs the manufacturers mail to us are IPs and not take those. The policy is posted in the FAQ

| Re: ? about the new HyVee q policy I am worried too about how they are going to interpret this new rule. As we all know from dealing with large retail chains, it's possible we'll get a different set of rules with each cashier. I plan to talk to my favorite manager about this new rule, if we don't let them know we are unhappy there is no chance they will change it. My only options here are Walmart(higher than the other two Always), Hy-vee and Fareway.
Looks like Fareway is now my best bet. |

| Re: ? about the new HyVee q policy-New info in last post! Ok I went today and before I even got anything I went to CS to ask about my Nabisco qs. They directed me to the AM and she had a copy of the new policy and at first she interpreted it like I was worried about, that they couldn't take ANY free qs. But I pointed out the line that says something about them not taking these types of IPs and so then she said it was fine for me to use them. I used them without a hitch :)
So if you have ANY free qs, including any mailed to you or those over a value of $2.50, I suggest going to CS BEFORE you even try to use them. And have a copy of the new policy with you and maybe highlight the line that distinguishes that it's the IPs that they won't take FREE/above $2.50 and NOT all qs. Also, try to keep anything that comes with qs that are mailed to you so that you can prove they were actually mailed and are not IPs (my stupid Nabisco qs were mailed but looked like IPs) Makes a lil extra work for us qers but it worked just fine in the end :)
