I just got back from our Hy-Vee where I got 8 boxes for free! Ours were marked as 2/$1 without any coupon needed, and then I had the $1 off 2 coupons as well as some 55 cents off 1 coupons. So all were free - and some had overages.

Our store did say "Limit 4" so dh and I each bought 4 and I'll go back later for more! :)

Also - got a catalina for cereal that I will have to post.

I then asked if I could use my q's with it and he said he didn't think so. Then, I go to checkout and the same asst man comes over to bag my groceries! Blah! lol. I asked again if I could use my q's and he then said NO. He was unsure at first, so I said I just wanted to make sure ;) So what does "vendor" coupon mean? Should I still be able to use my man q's with it?
I ran across this same problem at my Hyvee. The coupon according to our manager is a Man. q. Therefore I could not use my q's. Can't use one man q on top of another man q for the same item.

I went to my Hyvee in Olathe today and they had signs up saying LIMIT ONE, even though our ad says 2/$1!! I'm glad I wasn't going there for just those. I got my other things and checked out and I had to ask the manager who was ringing me out to scan the coupon to get the discount! Very disappointing.

I went to our Hy-Vee in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa today and got 6 boxes FREE using 3 of the $1 off of 2 boxes. At that time, they didn't have a limit and I asked to make sure first if I could use a manufacturers coupon and the manager said that was okay.
THEN, I made a trip up to the Hy-Vee Drug Store and they were also 2 for $1.00 there... bought 6 more and used 3 more $1 off of 2.

    So far, 12 boxes FREE!

I went back to Hy-Vee in the evening... all sold out, but you could get a raincheck-limit 2.

I'm going to check back up Hy-Vee Drug Store tomorrow and get a few more. I have a few more $1 off of 2 and also a few .40 off 1 Q's.

Ringing up $1 each in Council Bluffs by the mall. They were doling out the $1/1 Manuf. c/o to those customers they deemed worthy and only giving $1/2 discount (bringing the sale price to 50¢) I had my own $1/1 coupons that I picked up at another store last year before Christmas. Good thing I wasn't allowed to use the last one because I had to prove that I carried them into the store with me! Some kid with a wad of goo stuck to the middle of his tongue didn't want to take the full $1 off each box. He was very rude - but I was more than a little annoyed by then- and got the general manager for me that decided to accept them since they were apparently my coupons (after I showed him more from my purse).

To top that they could only sell me 2. According to the kid with the goo, some lady bought 30 last night and now they were almost out.

I think I figured out why I never find any TP coupons in this store.

I'm sorry. My opinion is that it is wrong to advertise a sale that is contingent on the stores supply of a manuf. coupon that they are not even redeeming at face value. Also, if you are going to have a limit, that limit should apply to every person, every time. I guess they are going to have to start photographing and finger printing folks when they buy baggies.

I had a similar problem this morning on 50th and Center here in Omaha. The limit was 2. I had asked an employee if that meant limit 2 in general or limit 2 of each kind. She said each kind. So I picked up 2 of 4 different kinds. Get up front and they had the same $1 coupons that you had. And of course I had my own $1 coupons (probably the same ones you have) and they would only use the $1 they had per 2 boxes even though it says $1 per box per purchase on them. The lady was extremely rude and I left without anything. I was not about to argue coupons with someone who obviously doesnt get it
