What you using it for? I thought about doing this 1, but can't use 7 packages up fast enough. Are they freezeable? If so, how would I wrap them/thaw them? TIA Gizz

I've frozen it before... and its oaky... but once you freeze them you can only really use them in cooking

They usually have pretty long expiration dates. I bought some this summer on sale, and I have 3 left that expire on 11/30. Not quite enough for a cheesecake. :) I have 9 kids, we go through cream cheese! I try to get 12-24 when it's on sale.

I freeze it right in the package it is in. Just throw it in the freezer. It tends to be more crumbly once thawed so I would agree with xolesliexo, that once you do freeze it, it is best to just use them for cooking/baking, not smearing on your bagel!
