HyVee ~ Good Deal Cake mix for .38 per box!

The Hy-Vee ad for the week includes a coupon for $5/10 selected products. The products include Pillsbury cake mix for .88ea. Buy 10 for 8.88, get back $5, or about .38ea!

Pillsbury Brownie Mixes are also included in the deal, all different varieties including mint chocolate, frosted, creme cheese, funfetti, etc. They are on sale for $1.67 ea. At my store there were peelies on all the boxes for .35/1. I did one order of 10 cake mixes (I make cupcakes about once a week for kids and DH) and then 4 boxes of brownies and 6 cake mixes; that order came to about .56 per box.

did the cake mixes for .88 include the reduced sugar w/splenda? There is a 1/3 coupon out for the reduced sugar if so. I am guessing it probably isn't, but have coupons ready just in case.

My store had hand written signs that said the sale price did not include the sugar-free types.

At my store there were signs that showed the reduced sugar variety were included in the $5/10items BUT these cost more - I don't remember the exact price but I want to say over $1.50...

The items pictured in the ad for my area are

Thanks for sharing! I just got back from HyVee & was very happy with the cake mix purchase!

There are coupons out for $1/2 for any pillsbury cake mix, frosting or brownie mixes. They expire 11/30/08.
I got them off of ebay a few weeks ago when my local store had brownie mixes for .76 each. I got 10 for .26 each.
Now I am going to use the other 5 I have and MM on the cake mixes.
