My MIL told me about this: regular blue Dawn dishsoap works wonders as a laundry stain remover, especially for stains from baby!

I found this recipe in my email.
Fabric Softener
2 cups baking soda
2 cups white vinegar
4 cups water
Mix ingredients and store in a plastic or glass container in laundry area. Lable the container and keep out of reach of children. Yield 64 ounces, for approximately 64 cents.
To use, add 1/4 cup to the final rinse water in your washing machine.
NOTE: Be CAREFUL when mixing the vinegar with the baking soda (it has a bubbling reaction) and shake well after it has settled and before each use.
I use this all the time, in the winter though I'll mix in some store bought fabric softener to cut down on static cling.
Take one cup of 91% rubbing alcohol, one cup of cool water, and one tablespoon of Dawn dish detergent, put in old spray bottle ( I used my old shout bottle) give a little shake and you're ready to go. This gets out almost anything. My DD had a spit up problem and this got out everything. Works on grass stains, ketchup, honey mustard......the list goes on.
Received this in an email from friend. Pretty neat way to fold shirts if you can get it figured out.

Ughh I had to do this when I worked at an upscale store at an outlet mall. It's a pain in the butt to learn and I don't think I could do it today without practicing first.
All sorts of deals for all shades of green.
Check out HCW's sister site, Organic Grocery Deals. See you there!
I hang all clothing except sweaters, socks, underware, bathing suits, and bras.

I just did it! I watched the video about 10 times, then tried it myself & got it right the first time 'round! Thanks!
Now, if I could only learn how to fold a fitted sheet w/o wanting to scream & rip it to shreds-lol!
Peace, Lisa
