Electrosol: Do you like the powerball tabs better or the gel pacs?

We use the gel packs here. It seems like they leave less residue than the tabs.

We love the powerball tabs. I got a whole case of the Cascade gel packs. They are so bad. I have to wash the dishes before I put them in. And they still leave grit on the dishes. Never had any problems with the powerball tabs. They always came out crystal clear and shiny. After this case is over I am going back to the other ones.

I like the gel pacs better. I really dislike the tabs to a point where I had reather pay more for the gel pacs. If I can find a good deal on Cascade gels I will get those for I really likes those the best.

I think it has something to do with the type of water as to which works best for us all.

I like the gel tabs. THey don't leave a powder residue on the top rack stuff. the powder tabs always leave a little powder-y residue :(

I prefer the Finish Quantum tabs or Cascade powder.

We have very iron rich well water and I have tried cascase packs, quantam, the gel packs, powder, gel etc. I am stuck on the electrsol powerball and add to the top of the rinse aid plain white vinegar. Dishes come out squeaky clean and shiny. I always make sure at least once a week to make sure the bottom is clear of debris. HTH~

Neither I used to swear by Electrosal products but in combination with our hard water had deposits and built on my dishes. I am not saying everyone should jump ship and switch, but I know use Melaleuca's dishwasher detergent. I will forever buy that stuff thru my friend. You don't use very much at all and not only are my dishes build and spot free, but it also cleaned the inside of my dishwasher which is stainless steel and it looks brand new.

our dishwasher is the kind you hook up to the sink and I found that the gel pacs be it Electosol or cascade are the only thing that gets my dishes clean consistently. I use the gel pacs and rinse aid and I rarely have stuff that has to go through again, has particles stuck to it or flat needs to be washed by hand. That said, I got 24 tabs free so I'll be giving them another try because..hey, free.
