Wash the entire shirt in Mustard to make it that color.
cause nothing is ever going to get it out.
It's hard enough to get mustard out before you wash and dry it.
So here's my situation: DH got a big mustard stain down the front of one of his favorite T-shirts. But I didn't notice until AFTER I'd washed and dried the shirt and he was wearing it again. I stain treated, pretreated and have washed it twice now, but the stain is still there. Any bright ideas before I try to convince him that the stain adds character to the shirt???![]()

ROFL!!!! Thanks guys... confirming my suspicions. I know this will lead to a "well now I should buy a new shirt" discussion...

Buy sin Rit dye and dye it! Just make sure it is darker than the stain. Takes care of the stain issue and the new shirt issue!![]()
If the shirt is white, try rubbing on straight bleach with a q-tip. I have done this before with stains not set by the dryer without problems, be sure and rinse out when you are done trying.

Nope, slate gray. With a logo on it so I can't just straight up dye it. I washed it (pretreating, soaking, etc) four times in a row. I'd say the stain came out about halfway. So I think that's just going to have to do. Thanks, guys....

As a pretreater, I like to use Dawn dishwashing liquid. In my opinion it works much better than the real pretreaters. It takes out about anything for me. Something else that works pretty decent would be to soak in oxy stuff.I have used it a couple of times. But usually dont need it with the dawn.

Have you tried Carbona Stain Devils? I dried green crayon onto a whole load of dd's clothes and it ALL CAME OUT! You use a specific formula for the stain. Looks like #2 is for mustard. The bottles are small but only a couple dollars at WalMart. Occassionally, there are coupons, too.
