Tried it on the car and it works great too. I make up a small amount when I'm going to do my mirrors in a bucket. I also use one of those micro fiber cloths and wring it out as much as I can.

When I'm done with the glass then I dump the vinegar water in the toilet to clean it out too.

Is there a ratio of vinegar to water or is it just half and half?

There probably is a ratio to it but I just eyeball it; splash in vinegar then add some water. I think I remember reading somewhere that it's one to four but I think I probably use a stronger strength than that. It probably doesn't matter too much since it won't damage the glass.

Vinegar is also a great odor remover. When we bought our RV the refrigerator had an unpleasant odor in it. Put in baking soda and it was still there after days. Then my husband had stored a paintbrush in the fridge overnight and now it really reeked. I put some vinegar in an unsealed container (small juice glass) and left it sitting in the fridge. Within a couple of days all the bad odors were totally gone.

It's amazing how it works to remove odors. We'd accidentally left a bag of garbage in the back of the car for a long weekend vacation. The car smelled yucky as you can imagine. Tried Fabreeze and after several applications it still smelled. So I put the open container of vinegar in the back of the car and amazingly it worked!
