Mc Donalds 50 piece Chicken Nuggets

DH and I saw the 50 MC Nugget deal for $9.99 and got to thinking, this could be a great deal and something differnet to eat if we can get more than one meal out of the 50 nuggets (not letting any go to waste). After the first night of eating them, we put the remainder in a tupperware container and put them in the fridge.

The next day for lunch and supper, I put the nuggets on a cookie sheet and broiled them in the oven turning once until each side starting sizzling. THey came out warm and crispy and you would have thought I had just come from the drive through! $9.99 for 3 meals for two people of fast food-not too bad!

Yeah, it's really not a bad deal at all. It's just that I don't trust my McD's to count to 10, much less 50.

It's a good deal. We get it sometimes and split it between DH, me, the kids, my mom, and my sister. (Mom and Sis live down the street, and we eat together on a regular basis.) It's a decent deal for the family if we decide to have dinner together on a whim.

Funny story: A friend of DH's brought this 50 nugget pack to our house one evening... for HIMSELF! He sat in my living room and ate all 50, in one sitting, slathering them in honey mustard all the way. I was almost sick watching him.

It's not bad...Chicken McNuggets are the only think I like at McDonald's so I hardly ever eat there. I think I have eaten there like 2 times in the past 3 years, usually while driving somewhere and there is nothing else available.

I prefer making my own chicken nuggets/strips and can usually make them cheaper. Chicken thigh meat and breast meat on sale, coated in some free after coupon bread crumbs baked in the oven and I know exactly what parts of the chicken are in it.

But if you like the nuggets that is a pretty good deal, plus you get free sauce out of it...LOL

I have to know, does anyone have issues getting free sauce out of their McD's? Mine has a sign posted that says:

2 sauces with a 6 piece.
3 sauces with a 10 piece.
6 sauces with a 50 piece.

In my area, the 50 piece nuggets is $9.99, and the 5-piece nuggets are on the dollar menu... So get ten 5-piece nuggets for the same price. Is there a discount when you buy the bigger pack at your store?

OP is this a deal going on right now?? I don't live that far from you...so if your MD is doing the $9.99 sell...probably mine is as well

but seriously, this 50 nugget is a good deal and we have gotten them and put some away for lunches the next day. we only do mcd's as a special thing

you already said you dont trust yours to count meggers! if you go with

2 sauces per 6 that would 16 per 50
or
3 sauces per 10 that would be 15 per 50

and ours give one per kids meal.
