which stain remover works best for soda, coffee, etc. on carpet?

I tried to post in the correct forum (hot coupon world helping hand) but it won't let me.
My house is for sale and a looker(s) spilled something on my carpet in 3 places, really bad. The real estate agent's are able to show the house and I'm not allowed to be there.

MY agent said Resolve works best, foam, rub it in, let it dry, then vacuum.
Others say Resolve will leave the carpet looking like a lighter color.

Which is best?
I'm sure it was some sort of colored soda or coffee, clear liquids would not have stained brown carpet. Hopefully real estate agents are drinking beer.

Believe it or not, the best thing I have found to remove stains from carpet is Scrubbing Bubbles. Just spray it on and let it sit a few minutes and the stain will wipe right out.

Found this out by accident when my dog ralphed all over my carpet which is offwhite, yeah imagine what that looked like LOL, and I was out of resolve so I grabbed the scrubbing bubbles in desperation! Took it right out!

I would recommend testing in an inconspicuous area first as I don't know how dark the carpet color is.

I generally use spot shot but I am having problems using it to get out a coffee stain right now, so I'm curious as well. bump for you!

I use blue corral it is foam lift up made for car upholstery but it works the best...
