    Default What do you FREEZE?

What do you often freeze and use later?
    (Besides Meat)
Like I made chicken stock and froze it in ice cube trays ...then when it was frozen I popped them out and put them in a ziploc bag.
    Same with cocnut milk.

Does anyone have some good frugal ideas?

We changed our diet, & are adding minced (via food processor) egg whites to all our cooked foods for fat free added protein. I finally broke down & boiled 5 dozen, minced & froze them. They turned out Ok, but rubbery. It doesn't bother us.

When I find celery on sale, I purchase as much as I can afford; after cleaning, I dice it and place in freezer bags so that I always have it available for cooking. I do the same with green/red/yellow peppers and onions! This saves money and time!

Real butter in sticks for stockpiling when it's on sale.

Cheese, blocks and shreds, not mozzarella whole block, came out yucky!

Fruit cut up, if it's about to go bad, including bananas. Use for shakes and smoothies.

Sliced bread that's been out too long and about to go bad, just defrost in the toaster for a few seconds.

I need advice. There is a Q for 32oz Dannon All Natural Yogurt. Can I stockpile & freeze these? Has anyone done it successfully? Does it look curdled afterwards? Thanks.

I freeze yogurt cups all the time. I've never noticed them looking curdled.
