HELP HELP!! Cat hair (orange) on Appliances (black)

Alrighty - I've seen some strange problems solved ala HCW style - so here you are HCW crew - have at this one that's driving me INSANE!!!

We have an orange tabby cat who apparently loooooves to rub against my black fridge and stove front.... and I can't get the hair OFF the appliances or keep it from magically sticking when the cat walks within 100 yards of it!!!

The only way I've found is to pick each hair off individually

    Then....amazingly....overnight......

The fuzzy fairy has replaced each strand I took off, with clones - in triplicate!!!!

P.S. In-Laws coming the weekend!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!

I would test pledge on it ( on the side, near the wall.) spray, rub... see if theres a yucky film. if not.... test with some cat hair, see if it sticks. if not, repeat the whole fridge. if theres a film clean it off with vinegar and forget my suggestion LOL

at least you will be in season with the orange and black.....

Another thing that could be attracting the hair is static- maybe run a dryer sheet over the surface.

We used to have 3 dogs that ALL shed, plus 3 cats. It reached the point I told people if they didn't like dog hair, don't visit. It was impossible to keep up no matter what. Heck I found dog hair IN my fridge. Have no idea how it got there, unless they'd figured out how to open it while I was at work... Now the only one of my old cats is left, and the new dogs are all NON SHEDDERS! It's wonderful! Too bad I seem to be the one doing the majority of the shedding now. DH complains about my hair being everywhere...

I secong the dryer sheet idea. Also try febreeze allergen reducer, it knocks allergen like dust and mold out of the air, so hair should work to.

Have you tried the Pledge for electronics? It's made to remove static. It doesn't leave a film IME.
