Powdered Drink Mixes(the stick kind for water bottles)
1 or 2 rolls of nice soft TP(ya sure do miss it when ya cant get it!)
    Wet TP wipes
    Batteries
    Gum
    Razors
    Letters from Home(always appreciated)
    Band Aids
    Neosporin
    Feminine Hygiene Products

You can either mail the items directly to me (apo addy) or her also an apo addy.

I wish you well I usually donate these items to our local school etc who arrange with an organization to ship them or as they get discount. I would suggest you also try your local church schools etc as it is an additional expense when shipping within the usa and then again overseas.

I have sent many packages overseas throughout the years although none directly to military and it is very very expensive. If you google you might find where you can ship and give them your address HTH.. Best of luck

Thank you all ! Please no more donations, She has 3 packages on the way and this should be plenty.
I am located overseas so going to local places for donations is a bit difficult and usually I do not ask but this lady is at a location without a store and such. They just got a way to get mail delivered. Thank you all for the help and I am sure she will greatly appreciate it!

Just a quick note: I send packages to soldiers every week and it isn't any more expensive then sending packages within the USA. The soldiers who are overseas have an address in the US that you send to and the armed forces ships it from there.

If anyone would like to send packages to other soldiers, please check out www.booksforsoldiers.com. The soldiers list what they want (books, cds, dvds, snacks, or just letters) and you send to a specific soldier. They even have a list of forgotten soldiers who aren't getting mail from home that you can send to.

You can use the flat rate boxes Priority Mail to send to APO addresses and you get a $2 discount rate when it goes to the military addresses. A flat rate of 12.95, it's a 12"x12"x5.5" box, up to 20 lbs for one rate.

I ship to a soldier a few times a month and it's amazing how much I can pack in that box!

He's in the Persian Gulf and gets them in 7-10 days.

You guys are fantastic! I have a group that adopts a soldier randomly chose each month but this one was a special case as she had no access to stores and so forth so I wanted to help get her a few more things :-)

Glad to hear that you have been successful with your Soldier adoption! That is good news! I sometimes think that the general public has forgotten about our Troops...today marks the 10th anniversary of the Afghanistan War...hard to believe! For folks mailing Soldier Boxes...just a clue on postage...The flat rate boxes are the cheapest way to send stuff over...especially heavier items like body wash/shampoo...for lite weight items (tampons/socks)...you will end up paying about $1/pound. The boxes that paper comes in is a perfect size.

PS checkout Facebook for Soldiers Angels...now is the time to sign her up for a Christmas box.

PSS be sure to holler when she needs more stuff!

    I LOVE MY SOLDIERS!!!
