Massachusetts tornado HHH needed

Last Wednesday, June 1st, there was a very destructive tornado in Western MA. Many people lost everything. Here is a FB page about the needs. Welcome to Facebook - Log In, Sign Up or Learn More

some of the things on the list are:
Gatorade, powerade, flavored water.
sunscreen, bug spray, bandaids, pain relievers
duct tape, household cleaners, trash bags, storage bins, ziploc bags


Some of the stuff are things you may have in your stockpile. (obviously not chainsaws HA!) I am willing to coordinate getting it to the churches in Monson. There are places mentioned in the Facebook post where you can mail or drop off. I think we have members in the Springfield/Monson area that may be able to drop off at these locations or at my house.

This is the town I lived in as a teeenager; my parents and my sister and my husband's brother all live in Monson. I have a number of friends in Springfield and Brimfield- other hard hit areas.

Thanks for posting this Maya. I have a family member with friends and family out there too. She shared some really alarming pictures. She's been helping with one of the churches out that way too.

Maybe if it's further than people here in Central MA can drive to get stuff out to you, I can help coordinate collecting stuff here and bring it out to you. I was hoping to do that anyway.

Sorry the Facebook link didn't work... It looks like basic medical supplies are needed now. Things like band aids, tylenol, and others type of household first aid and meds. I will let you know as I find out more needs.
