I sent a bunch to PA adress. I included my email and stated that I would be sending these any time they came out and if they were not needed to email me so I could send elsewhere.
I received an email that YES they use them. It was the sweetest email about how happy people are to recieve them!!
Makes a person feel all warm and fuzzy inside!
The Braca gene runs in my family. My mother died of Breast cancer and many others have had it, so helping cancer patients in need really feels good.
There are many costs that go with care that no one considers. For us trips to the dr are an hour away. Figure time off work, gas money, eating out (cuz u are gone all daya and get tired of packing a lunch), plus the toll stress takes. These are hard things to deal with when you already have to deal with treatment!

This is a great thing to do and there are variuos inserts out right now that could be sent.
Either use one of the addreses in this thread or call local oncology centers and get mailing info.
Very simple to do and only takes a few moments and a stamp. Come on HCW I know this site is full of kind and generous people. Lets do what we can to make a chemo patient smile.

Blues Kate sent me a great pm about donating boost and ensure coupons to Cancer patients who are often unable to eat after treatments and asked me to share the info with our members.

This is so true! This is a great idea..... though my Mom hated that stuff. She preferred Carnation Instant Breakfast. She would get the box of packets that look like hot chocolate.
