Hey everyone the earthquake in Haiti was hard hit for that poor country and there are several charities that can use some of the items that us couponers stockpile. If you are inclined to help here are some ways you can help those in Haiti:

Make a donation (money or if the charity accepts it donations of clothing, food and/or health and beauty aids, etc)

One of our HCW members tbbucs03 is also working with a local charity in her area and putting together some HBA stockpile stuff (think trial sizes) and clothing. Remember that sometimes the situation at hand can seem so overwhelming when we have very little to give. But even a donation of a $1 can help. If you don't have items that you can drop off locally and cannot afford to ship items for donation but have a spare dollar or two find a charity that will accept your donation and if there is not a charity that you can find that will accept a small donation you are welcome to send to me via Paypal at queenofthehivemomof5 @ gmail.com and I will collect and make one larger donation to the redcross.

Thank you HCW for having a heart to help in a horrific tradgedy. Such a great community.

Let's all do whatever we can, no matter how small to help these people. We are a blessed group of people with "skills" to help others.

Thank you so much for posting Heidi. I do hope that the HCW community joins in the efforts to help these people in such need. If anyone wants to donate stockpile items such as:
soaps, shampoo,womens feminine products, toothbrushes, toothpastes, bandages, deoderants etc.... trial and hotel sizes are great as these people have nothing and so many are homeless. Please contact me if you can help.

I am Catholic and our church host a sister parish overseas and it was in Haiti. All I know is the archbishop is dead. Haven't heard if the church is ok or the priest is dead. I am trying to watch the news and email people from my church to see if they have heard anything from people in our sister church over there.
