After a wonderful Christmas season of helping others, Heidi and I talked at length about what we could do to help others in the new year.

While we don't intend to operate HCW as a non-profit, charity site, we do know that we have some ways we can get things done to help others.

So this is our New Year's resolution that we'll have this forum and keep it updated with ways our members can help us accomplish some life changing support to others.

Each week, we'll post some things that you can do to help out the forum, and we'll keep a log of what we're contributing to this fund.

We've got some great things in mind to use the funds for including a repeat of our holiday version of this forum, and more.

We appreciate that we have great members who are willing to help us make a difference in other people's lives. We've had several really wonderful instances between our adopted families, auctions for members in need on the site, and more. We've proven that an online community can have attributes similar to the community that is in your home town. And frankly, I think our online community goes a step further because there is a higher need for trust between members in a virtual world to make it all work than you'd need off line.

So, watch this forum for projects we're hoping to fund, and offers you can do to help fund the projects.

I think you and Heidi and wonderful people at hcw have done a wonderful job I hope to help as soon as I can.At this point I am not able to but you can count me in as soon as I can or something I can do without money . .Have to see how long it takes me to get back on track.You guys have helped with deals and much more those that need help learn fast when you have to .I didn't have money for diapers because I had to pay bills .I was able to do it with knowledge.
