another NICU mom here.... DD was 2 1/2 months earlier, only 14 days in @ birth, but Hosp 10 times in first year of life.... SO...
I agree with all the items listed so far. Here is my added list:
1. PRESENTS for the older kids! They feel left out when all the attention is on the baby. please list their ages.
2. can we get together and send funds that together could provide a maid service visit? Do they live where there is a merry maids or something?
3. is it ok to add then to our prayer lists at our own churches?
4. How about just a card shower? Could we all send a card/Q's actuals/ etc to someone here at HCW in their area who could actually take them to the family?? Mail seems to get lost at this time!

is there anyone in their area who could "do their deals" for the family ( ie: shop for them as he would normally do) and keep the stockpile up for them???

I also will be keeping all the family and baby in my prayers.i had twins premature.

I just stumbled across this thread. I realized this babe was supposed to be born in the same month I am due. Our thoughts and prayers are with baby and family.

The baby is doing well. She is up to 2 lbs 2 oz. But they said if she loses not to worry that it will bounce up and down. She is now over her jaundice. I just hope she gets to come home soon.

Yes sorry updated other thread forgot to do this one. Baby is holding its own , but still having problems they were hoping to have it go home but not yet. They are very busy, tired and going back and forth a lot still. So all the good thoughts and prayers have really helped them keep happy. Thanks everyone!

They are very appreciate of the prayers, gas cards, cards, boxes etc everyone has sent.

Sorry my son was sick so scrambling to catch everything up.
