Even if it was staged, it is totally unacceptable. I could not imagine kissing my parent like that, jokingly or not, or my children. Totally totally WRONG!!!!!!!!!! Not at all funny!!!! Sick!!!!!

I think the level of how family shows (ACCEPTABLE) affection and acceptable personal space can vary, so a kiss on the lips isn't necessarily a gross factor. However, in this case, there is deception involved, which leads to a confusion and a violation of personal space. I think since this was a school environment that it's unacceptable on many levels. It promotes kissing, which schools typically ban, it supports the weird prank of a parent kissing an unsuspecting child to possibly invoke a different emotion than that of a parent/child, and it promotes an adult kissing a possibly underage child. I hear too much of teachers having inappropriate relationships with underage children, so don't want to see schools encouraging adults kissing kids. I also don't think schools should be encouraging pranks in general.

The schools have an obligation to the community to not participate in such activities as this. If this were just some family prank in a private or some other setting, I might not find it quite as offensive, but I certainly would be upset if my child attended that school. I would question the principal's judgment to even CONSIDER such a prank, much less allow it to actually happen. I also have to wonder about all of the adults present.

I watched the video, I don't think its a big deal. I'm sure they weren't actually KISSING. Maybe they just pressed lips and moved around for a reaction.
I watched the video and couldn't really tell what they were doing. Maybe because I find the song they were playing sooo annoying!

Parent child relationship should be safe and protected from any hint of sexuality.
This crosses that line and I think would be emotionally harmful to a teen to be tricked in this way.

A peck on the lips for those in families who might show affection that way is still not even close to what was happening here.

I'm especially concerned about the boy who obviously enjoyed the "luscious lips", only to find out it's his own mother???

I have a teen son. That would be unthinkable to do that to him. My dh would never trick either of our teen dds like that. I'm stunned that any adult thought that was funny, and even more to see that it was a group of adults who went along with it.

Disturbing to say the least. Too sexual for a parent/child relationship.

I cringed as I watched the video. I would NEVER want to do that to my son when he gets to the high school age. Especially the lady putting her son's hard on her bum.... seriously.....
