Another saga of the daycare blues......

I know you have all read my posts about daycare in and outs....

Well here is another one.

90% of my parents are low income so they get help from the government.

I get paid 2 times per month. Sometimes its 2 weeks between checks and sometimes its 3. I was supposed to get my last check on Nov. 14.
I called social services on monday and they said they sent out the checks late because of veterens day on friday the 11th. I said ok.... It should have came yesterday.

Well i didn't I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I thought perhaps the mail was a little slow. So...when it didn't come today I called.

Turns out that they are having a problem with the treasury or something for NY. so now they don't know what I will get paid. Its now been 3 weeks and 3 days since i have been paid.

They said they are "hoping" to have the problem fixed by monday but there is no guarentee.....
They are closed Thursday and Friday next week so if problem is not fixed by then, well guess what, I have to wait untill the 21st to work on it....And guess what!!! im supposed to take more time sheets over to get paid for on the 21st. which they are not supposed to work on untill the 28th and mail out.....so hmmm i might not get paid at all untill November 30th...after black friday.

Now here the kicker.... ALL MY BILLS THAT are due have to go unpaid. Thankfully i get a seperate check for feeding the kids. so i was able to pay my house payment.

I paid my house insurance, thinkin i would have the money and i had a few other things out, which bounced my checking, at least i had $100 in savings.

Daycare insurance due- will get a late fee- also wisll cancle if not paid by dec. 16th

Water bill was due- I will now have a late fee

Rge- I was on a payment agreeement with them to pay a past due balance from a few years ago. if not paid by the 25th I lose that agreement and either have to pay in full or redo the agreement. hopeing for a low agreement.

national fuel gas- will get a late fee and possible shut off

Timewarner- late fee AND possible shut off
netflix- automatically comes out on 12/2 hoping for cash by then or more bounces
Voice pulse phone- comes out automatically on 12/2
Student loan- if i don't pay i will go into defualt and have late fees

Nilico life insurance- automatic on the 28th

cell phone- if not paid, shut off and late fees.

Allstate car insurance- late fees and possible cancellation.

Thank GOD for 1 parent that pays cash and thank GOD for the little bit of copays parents are required to pay when getting government help. So hopefully i can get some money in checking to prevent bounces with auto payments.

No i have to finish calling bill companies.....

And i forgot to mention that dh had a speeding ticket.....wasnt aware of the speed limit. we were in a place we were unfamilier with at night... so now that $235 we need to figure out how to pay....

kim, that is the #1 top of the list reason why I absolutely will not do assistance payments at my daycare. MIL told me about how they like to go late like that when I was starting up, and there's just no way I could do it.

Usually i most enjoy getting paid by them. I've had so many run ins with people not paying me cash....Its just so frustrating.

I'm so sorry Kim this is happening to you and will be praying for you. You can get a forebearance for your student loan though. It is easy and only takes a few minutes to get it. Believe me I know, we have one right now.

Well i did get a chance to call everyone I owe.
No cancellations or late fees by many if i can pay by nov. 30th. Praying very much right now. I will probably lose my payment agreement with RGE right now though.
