Questions I get sick of people asking me!
1. Why does your 3 yr old go to school 7 to 5 3 days a wk when you don't work?
Anwser. I don't think it is fair to a 3 yr old to be bored at home watching me clean and do errand cooking and everything elce. He can be at school those days learning somthing. People always shutup when I say that.
2. Questions 2 aren't planning on going back to work when your son start K?
Anwser No I love having time to clean and do errands and prepare food well in school. My hubby works weird hr and we love to grab lunch and movie doing wk well they are in school. Then on weekends i love doing stuff with my kids. Plus my daughter goes to school yr around.

People are always going to be judging others..Ask those people what they would have to talk about if you lived in a nicer place or had a better job.

Maybe they have a better job or a nicer place than you do right now but things can change fast and do everyday. I know people that have had great jobs and they would say I will never work at Mcdonalds then make a comment on how those people are such loser's/. Now some of those people are working fast food jobs and some at walmart. Some of them have lost those $200,000 homes they use to brag about all the time and say why dont you buy a new home..I would back then say because I dont want a $1500 house payment a month and by wedenday each week have to wonder how I was going to pay for gas to work the rest of the week. So many people live way beyond their means these days and because they do it they think the rest of us should to.

Dont answer those questions just ask one like "since you have so much more than I do can you pay a house payment for me each month so I can afford to move and not live beyond my means?"

and then

Can you please call your friend at (fill in the blank as to your degree) and see if they will call me into to work for them for I would really love to work there...

A dumb questions for a dumb question that is what I would do.....that makes them feel two inches tall for trying to be smart to you..There is no reason for anyone to as anyone those kinds of questions other then to be mean. Well unless they have the money and willing to help you do better or the connection to help you land a better job..

Children are hard work, no matter how old they are. I've heard the teenage years of raising children are more challenging than when they are infants or toddlers.

LOL it is..I am there now I have a 17 and almost 16 year olds and its a lot more work and more nerve recking I tell you..by the way I have 4 year old twins also so i am not going on memory of what its like to have little kids in the house or big ones, its all going on now..

As to the why I dont work question..who in the %#@@ says I dont work and then ask have you ever took care of a home and kids all day?

Let me tell you when I did work a 50 hours a week job I wondered what a SAHM did all day and well now I know the same things I did when we are where at home of the night/day just alot more of them..clean,pick up,cook,clean,pick up,give baths,well all the cleaning, all the shopping anything to do with the kids for now hubby thinks the time he used to pick up milk,help with supper dishes ect is his time and his time only because you have the time to clean,cook,wash and put up clothes, all the shopping,dr visits,school stuff and more while he is at work...shoot they need to walk in our path a few days and then ask that question again. I never ask anyone that so please dont think i did I just wondered about it and thought about how nice it would be to sleep until noon..LOL LOL LOL and LOL again...sleep what is sleep?

I get asked every once in a while why I still stay home even though my kids are in school...I tell them that actually I do have a part time job for a few hours 2 days a week at my Dad's company, I am finishing up my nursing degree (2 quarters away from graduating!), run errands, volunteer and take care of the house. That usually shuts them up.

My DH had a family member asking way too many personal questions. He said, "Would you like to know about our sex life too?!" She actually said, "Well, I was wondering how you all managed to get it on!" I was about 6 months pregnant at the time, and his whole family made fun of my weight. Maybe he should have asked about her sex life instead of asking if she wanted to know about ours. My DH is not very eloquent at times.

If you were pregnant you obviously managed to "get it on" just fine.

See, you can aways think of a good comeback to that question like, "I dunno...why don't you ask your husband (son, brother, whatever...)?" too long afterwards :).
