I just recently left FB for 2 RAOK I won and I actually coudln'y remember if I wrote them right, so I had to go in and check my FB left for others. I am happy to report I did indeed wrote it correctly. I do have pretty bad spelling though I have noticed since I switched to fire fox that underlines mis-spelled words.

Their instead of there - and it happens on here a lot because it gets by spell check

When people say "he should OF" - instead of "he should HAVE"

Other than that I don't care as long as I can make out what they are saying. Some have kids jumping on them or they're trying to nurse a baby or doing a ton of other things while they're typing.

I don't usually care much about people's writing goofs. The one thing that does annoy me, though, is when a less than awesome writer calls out someone else for their less than awesome writing. There is a thread right now in which Poster A is calling out Poster B for not writing clearly enough, but Poster A's posts have often left me wondering if maybe English is not her first language because they can take quite a bit more effort to read, seriously, no snark. If you're going to be calling out people's posts for not being clear enough to understand, at least have the decency to make sure your own posts don't leave people wondering if you have a few missing fingers!

Otherwise, I don't really care. Well, except for chatspeak. I will cut you.

smee i agree! i have nerve damage in my hands. mainly my right one. i use to type perfectly but my fingers dont work sometimes as well as i think they are. i will hit submit and forget to reread my work and realize i mispelled all sorts of stuff.

i had someone on a facebook site call me all sorts of names because she thought i called her the b word. mind you it said " b " and then nothing else, but what she thought didnt even fit in the sentence i was typing. i told her that wasnt it and it was because of my issues. boy did she apologize.

we need to remember that some people did not have as great of english backgrounds as others, or some have issues, or others are use to short hand or slang. or some people are not great spellers and do not know where the spell check is or have a computer with slow internet that clicking on that spell check will just send them into the "unavailable blank white screen". (talking about me...interent in the boonies stinks)

and op, i type roak all the time...but i think that is because i have seen it so much mispelled that now i think that is the way it should be.

I love those people! Idn't it fun to find their goofs & point them out? Or maybe even stalk them all over the board & torture them with really bad grammah'? I wouldn't do that, of course.
