Is there any way you could put a camera in your apartment and position it to film your car from a window? Security cameras have gotten a lot cheaper.

How about putting dog or cat poo on the back and bottom side of the wipers.

Wow! I've had my tabs stolen off my car twice now but windshield wipers tops tabs for wierd. It's got to be someone in your complex I would think. I'm sorry this happened to you.
I'd appreciate your prayers during a very hard transition in my life. TYVVM

You mentioned parking lot...do you live in an apartment complex? If you own your property, big motion sensor lights are a great deterrent. I'd personally like to find something that activates a recording of a big vicious dog myself.

I know there are hunting camereas out there avaliable they take pictures. When they are tripped by movement this might be an option for the dog I would suggest it for the theif too but they might just take it. Un less it could be mounted where they couldn't get to it. HTH

It was raining and they needed good wipers and either they didn’t have money for new ones or didn’t want to fool with buying them, or both so they simply took ours.

I myself would probably let this drive me nuts I would start looking at the people who own cars that take the same size wipers as mine and narrowing it down. Then keep aa watch out for them. I can't stand people who steal!! We had things stolen from our car a few years ago it was Cd speaker box and amp put of the Dh car. People have Ball$$ and makes me sick how far people will go. The post about grave markers is sick and twisted sad! Hard times make people do weird things. we have a guy walking around our town people laugh and pick on him he picks up soda cans and bottles. He is not dumb he makes darn good money doing that. He is not stealing any thing form any body, and doing a good deed too.

I wouldn't put the label from your locking gas cap out there on the car itself. Reason being, there is a lot of information out there easily available on the internet regarding how to circumvent various types of locks. Just an fyi.

There used to be a type of wiper that in some way 'locked' on, although there were ways around the mechanism. I don't recall it being a lock-and-key sort of situation. It just required a special tool to remove them without destroying them in the process. After we put them on our truck, they stopped taking the wipers. Instead, they broke the side window and stole everything they could from inside our vehicle. This has been some years ago, and in those days GMC pickups had a metal dash. My DH had attached some stereo equipment in a metal case to this metal dash using steel L-shaped fittings and large bolts. They couldn't remove it, apparently, so instead inserted a tire iron between it and the dash and pried on it until they broke it. Cop who showed up told us it was people in the projects a block over coming to steal in our complex but for every 4 they arrested, 4 more popped up in their place. Because DH often worked late necessitating my being there alone until he got home, we threw a fit until they let us move to their other complex in a better part of town without dinging us for moving before our contract was up, and that was the end of our problems.

I can do you one better. Somebody actually stole a tire off my car, the left front. Came out and thought I had a flat, walked around the car, and found...NOTHING, no tire, gonzo. Well that stinks, how dare they! Get my spare, go to put it on, the darn bass turds took the lug nuts too!!!

That's terrible! My mind immediately goes to the men who delivered it. They knew actually were it was left, are adept at hauling it, and have the right vehicle to move it.

We installed two security cameras on the front of our house just last fall. We bought them at Lowes for about $50 each. They are very inconspicuous.
Please Help me save on the things I need here!
if you can say a prayer for my family!
