I do my best to help the environment and it really erks me when companies don't recycle.

I worked for a national food chain, mexican fast casual, who claims to be so environmentally conscious, yet they don't recycle. I worked for several of their locations and none of them recycled. I mentioned it to the area manager that it seemed contradictory to what the company stood for, his reply was that it was up to the landlord to provide a recycling container. I told him that I thought such a large company with a green reputation would see that it recycled. Didn't seem to matter. Silly as it seems, I use to take home as much as I could and recycle it myself but a restaurant has a lot of cardboard and such.
Now I work for another company who throws away huge amounts of plastic bags daily.
When I see this amount of waste, it makes what I recycle seem trivial but I do know that every little bit helps.
Does your company recycle? If not, can you do something to change it?
