    Default Grrrrr... Ebay!!!

So I don't usually but qs from ebay sellers but I did last week because I saw a good deal on .55/1 tic tac qs. Well, I paid for them and I received them in the mail today. I was shocked when saw that the coupons read off TWO! No where was it EVER mentioned that these were off two and I am VERY upset. I contacted the seller and am hoping for a quick reply. This kind of stuff just irks me and I'm not sure if I will EVER buy qs off of ebay again because at least I know that if I buy the qs from someone here then I am at least getting what I paid for. Not a great start to my day off but hey, I will just have to go rob some stores to make up for it! (with the coupons I received in the mail that WERE correct)

This happens sometimes. Maybe they sent you the wrong ones or maybe they jsut misread it when they were listing them ofr listing coupons is not as easy as you may think it is. Plus unless you are paying $4 or so out they are not making much off them after all the fees are paid.(which I dont think you did). i buy them on there often and I hate to pay out $2 total for $10 on coupons but its better than buying the papers(I think plus we all dont get the same coupons in them). The at the same time I know how much work went into that person listing and mailing them and that in the end they dont get but may $1 of that after all is said and done.

I hope they get back with you soon, if they dont just open a case and you will get your money back that way. I would give them at least 24 hours tho.

I agree, I have bought multiples of one coupon from ebay also. I usually get good price, or free shipping . This past week I order Fiber One bread coupons 20 of them for 2.00. Exp date 8/31/11. When I received them the enclosed statement was riight but the coupons yes 20 of them were forom Stella D"oro cookies. I emailed the seller he apologized fully said he mixed up the envelopes and would be sending out next morning. Due in today. I returned the 20 sent in error as he was quick to admit fault and fix it. I didn't feel right keeping them. I would order again. Again as in anything there are some who will try to trick or omit important information. I try to go to familiar sellers. I have bought from HCW also. Have not had a problem but quite a bit or rudeness may I say.

i had a seller send me something totally different then what i ordered and she advertised...she put a note saying they were not right...i was not happy and emailed her...she refunded immediately and apologized she didnt think it would make a difference as it was still a coupon.

i have found too that some sellers send you some of what you ordered and then some of what you didnt...i got some $.25/1 chef boyardee once....2 weeks later at the sale i realized that some of them were for $.35/3 mixed in with the others. dont know if this was a mistake or what...but now i could them and check each one no matter if the seller is a regular or not..

but i will say, i dont get that many off ebay anymore ...i stick to traders here

Here's my favorite "terrible ebay seller" story from my experience (it wasn't coupons but it's still interesting...)

I bought a DVD box set on ebay & I paid right around what all the very gently used sets were going for. The listing showed a stock picture of the DVDs in the original case. The description simply read "I purchased this on ebay, watched it once and am selling it again. Great Condition." Well when the DVDs arrived, it was just the disks in a manila envelope. No case or insert or anything. I emailed her and said that I was unhappy with the purchase considering I paid the same as the ones that were gently used in original cases were going for. She pretty much told me "Who cares. You got the movies. Just watch them then resell them like I did." I explained that she used a stock photo chowing the movies in their case so it was misleading and I wanted a refund. She said that because she had stated in the description that she bought them from ebay, the buyer is supposed to assume they are not in good condition even though it says they are because "that's just how ebay works." I told her that I wasn't going to resell them because #1 I was collecting the whole set and wanted to keep them but need their packaging and #2 I'm not going to mislead someone like she did me. Luckily after a paypal dispute, I got my money back & returned the disks but she never did understand what was wrong with her side of the transaction.

I only have purchased a couple of times (other than whole inserts) and they were not insert coupons except for the awesome knox ones. I get mine here or through clippers if they are inserts.

Hopefully they'll get it fixed fast. If not...go through the system and get your money back!

I've also found the prices on ebay to be too high for my liking. For example 20-0.75/1 Smart Water coupons were up to $12.xx yesterday.

I get a lot of my coupons from ebay, especially the "hot" ones that I can't seem to find with the "normal" traders from any one of the forums I use :-(
for the most part I have been very satisfied with their service, but they are a bit more expensive
