Ive never lost internet with time warner. any issues we have had they actually come out. we were trying to save money by going to century link with their price lock guarantee. But for a week we had their router and we never got service turned on in our area and we just gave up and told them to cancel. Im still waiting on them to come pick up that router! I should just find a century link van and hand it to them, ill honk and flag em down lol and be like here ya go!

I've had it for about 5 years. I can't say I LOVE it, but from what I hear, it doesn't seem to be any worse than Comcast or Time Warner. We have some pretty turbulent weather in SW Florida and ALL service takes hits from time to time.

Your situation sounds like ours. We live in a neighborhood with a lot of elderly folks (It's Florida, after all!) We were the first in our neighborhood to order DSL from them. It took them a few days to get a wire run to our neighborhood. We had that issue for a while with the rain. That seemed to get resolved, then we started having outages, the guy would come out and say he had to go back to their nearby substation and "flip a switch". As soon as they did that, we were back online again. I'd say that in the last few years, with more people coming online in our neighborhood, we've had very few problems.
