Traders who don't respond to offers!!

I need to get this off my chest. It's been breing in me for a couple of weeks and it's time to let it out. I am really sick of traders on here who post lists in the Trading Forum and then never have the courtesy to respond back when someone makes you an offer. Especially those of you who list random items and/or make a generalized list w/o listing the source of these coupons you are looking for. I take the time to find these coupons you are supposedly wanting and the LEAST you could do is tell me "no thanks" or SOMETHING! What a WASTE of my TIME!!! Do you know how long it takes to do that??

I don't care if you got it from someone else - just take the time to let me know - it's the courteous thing to do!!

I think I'll make a list of no response members - it might help us all out!

I would appreciate a list like that. Although not exactly the same situation, I've had two traders ignore my PM's this week. The first being a response to an ISO post they made. And then the second being a request by me for Q's on their havelist. And completely open-ended on my part about what they would like in PPEF, stamps, or cc. Who turns down money?!

Sorry you wasted your time. I know how that feels for sure. Maybe if you think you have the Q's they're looking for, just shoot them a quick PM asking if they'd be interested in a possible trade before you make out a list of what you've got. If you get no response from that, forget 'em.

I'm sorry that you wasted your time looking for the coupons that these people wanted. I don't know much about trading as I am still semi new here,but I advise you to do as Gctattoo suggest you did.

I know I have been guilty of this a couple times. I usually am here pretty regularly, but sometimes I take a hiatus from HCW for a month or so. If I'm not logging in...I''m not seeing messages. So, a few times I have logged in after an absence and saw trade offers.

Actually, I'm strictly referring to members who post an "ISO" thread in the Trading Forum. And these are same day postings I'm responding to.

I know it's cumbersome sometimes to trade through the coupon database and I can see those notices going unnoticed so I always send a PM too informing the member I've made an offer via the coupon database in hopes that it doesn't get overlooked.

I just don't get it. I hardly think you can get overwhelmed with PM's about your ISO list in there that you can't respond...

I'm with you, OP. I'm trading pretty hard right now, and I sent 10 PM's offering trades, and I only got 1 response. :(

Usually if someone doesn't list the source or at least the value of a coupon they are looking for, I just don't bother with it. Sorry you are having a hard time OP, that would upset me too.

Ah yeah. ISO is a different thing. I don't trade a ton so I can't remember if I've experienced someone not responding to a pm about a specific ISO, but yeah that would be really annoying.

Ummmm, IM SORRY!!!!! I do those generalized lists but i dont think I have ever not responded back to a pm, but if I have IM SORRY!!!
