i would of called her on it. flat out said "are you serious this is a potluck. who charges for a dessert at a potluck" and then waited for a response. and of course my mouth would of told her after her response "that is seriously tacky". and walked away.

but that is me. and if my fork was in it, i would of eaten that bite and told her it wasnt worth the $1

ITA. I would have definitely said something cause I think I would have actually been a bit offended that someone was trying to make money off of me at a normal, supposedly fun and non-fund raising party. Major faux pas indeed. The nerve of some people...or the craziness. Who knows.

I would have Put the Cake Balls on my Plate and Walked away with it. If Anyone said anything to me. I would define, what Potluck meant, let them know I had contributed to the Pot and was now enjoying my Luck.
People are crazy IMHO
