I guess I am lucky. The Chicago Tribune puts all the inserts and ads in a sealed plastic wrapper in the middle of the paper.

Friend and me took 2 paper back to store today because of that! They gave us 2 papers with coupons in them.

I think someone was stealing from the papers at my store this week. They always have inserts in them, but this week, some were missing the p&g, some were missing all of them. A lot of them were. That has never happened before so I think someone was stealing them. The cashier at the gas station here frequently goes back out of sight of the papers.

This has happened to me more times than I care to remember. Now I always check the paper first when I can. Can't do that if you are buying it from a sealed rack though.

Im not "accusing" anyone of stealing Im just saying that out of 6 papers they all should have had Q's in it since it was a bundle and the ones they run short of would be in a bundle that has less papers in it, and go to a store that not very many people go to, I live in a highly populated area. The area I live in I wouldnt trust people with my dog LOL.... The clerk even told me that there was a guy that came in and bought 6 papers as well so I know there was good coupons in there I just got unlucky and got the crap end of the deal...... I have a friend that lives closer into town then I do and ive been thinking about having it sent to her house cause I know some other friends do that as well.... But Im over it now and just didnt start my morning off very well..... On too tomorrow... LOL

I get Redplum delivered by US Mail on Wednesday. For quite a while now the packet has been coming in including the ads for 2 local competing markets and a couple of one sheet ads and only the outside foldedcover page of Red Plum with no coupon pages inside. I called Red Plum and reported the issue. The CSRep was very nice took my information again and it said would take 6 weeks to receive a new mailing.

My thought is where does the fault lie. The distribution center who coordinates the mailing, the US Mail distribution center, my individual mail person. I really could care whose fault it is, I just want my coupons :)

I'm starting to think the stores need to be given inserts separately & pass one out for each paper they sell. It seems they need to be guarded more than cigs do these days!
