SERIOUSLY?! Someone bought EVERY paper in town to sell the coupons!

Okay I need advice, I am MORE than frustrated! I spoke with EVERY store in town, all of which are sold out on the Sunday papers. The clerk said that there are two guys that came in and said they were buying every paper in town to sell the coupons on Ebay! Am I wrong here or isn't that illegal? PLUS it is taking away from everyone else that actually USES the coupons! As a mother I depend on coupons to keep my grocery bills low to help pay my other bills! Anyone have any ideas of how to report this?

Report it? It's not reportable. There's no proof that these people are doing it and even if there was, have you ever looked at ebay and the thousands of coupons being sold on there. The cops have better things to worry about than people buying up all the papers in town.

Maybe you should buy some whole inserts on here...or ebay...might be less aggravation and less costly (cost of paper & gas)

That would be terribly frustrating.
But it's why I get home delivery - whenever there was an extra good coupon week, I couldn't get to the store before they were all bought up. The one day you really want them, is the day everyone else does too...

It is frustrating. That is why home delivery is the best way to get the paper. cheaper than stores too.

Maybe you could buy directly from the newspaper office? I know sometimes they have some available there depending on your paper.

I get the paper delivered because I am lazy. But if I want more copies, I go to Rite Aid, get my 10% discount, and get the Sunday paper for $0.90! There's another paper in my area that costs $2.75 on the weekend - ain't no way that's happening!

I don't think it's illegal for someone to buy all the papers. It would be frustrating though.

According to ebays rules, they are NOT selling the coupons, you are paying for their time to gather, clip and ship the coupons, that's how they get around the legality of it all!

You need to make friends with someone at your local grocery store and ask them to reserve you some papers.
