Wow! So we all have no life? Lets see I'm debt free and have plenty of options to feed my family. I think people who pay full price for groceries/HBA items are NUTS so he would qualify for that-LOL.

2) in my experience, for every person that complains about coupons, there is another one out there that is commenting about how awesome it is that you saved money!

My favorite way to save money is by getting gift cards for complaining about rude managers. Leaves me a lot more time to have a life.

Update...So I went back tonight to do the last day of the triples. I purposely went to the lane closest to his podium and when the cashier told me my oop i said loud enough for him to hear "WOW only 70 cents I hope pathmark does this at least once a month" he gave me a dirty look, i smiled and walked out with my $50 worth of groceries.

Yikes - I think you did a good job addressing it - but hard to believe that it was said by a manager. I would definitely go higher up.

I did have a very rude comment by an asst manager at WAGS once that was similar - I complained and ended up with a written apology and a $20 gc. He has never forgotten me and I have had no more problems at that store.

Good for you for speaking up! I usually stay quiet too, but sometimes I get a wild hair up my butt and have to put people in their place!

I would have told him, And these coupons are why at 29 , I have no Debt besides our Mortgage which was a 10 year and is already 2.5 years ahead of schedule only 2 years in.

What they really hate is that couponing is contagious! I now keep a Printed List of Good websites to et coupons from and Advice. HCW is at the top of the list. When people show interest in my coupons , I give them the list.
