Did you call corporate to complain?
I am just fed competely up with Publix in Spring Hill. We have been shopping with Publix for years but recently started shopping in Spring Hill after buying a home in the area. They refuse to put any booklets out "because the couponers will take 50 or more at a time amd not leave any". I finally ask at the customer service desk if I could have one of each of the current booklets and was told that only one or the other per customer. WTF?? Why have two promotions but only allow a customer to have acess to information on one of them. It is reasonable to keep them at the customer service desk but to be crazy about them is not.
Just for the record ....I rarely buy more than 2 or 3 of any item at a time. I go thru alot of coupons but also shop routinely at 3 to 5 different brand of stores each week.

Who is your store manager there? I use to work at Publix and if I am right I know the guy because he was the manager at the store I was at. He is just a jerk. You need to call or email corporate about this.

I did call and speak to one of the managers at the store. It really didn't seem to help. The manager seem so focused on justifing the behavior as a result of dealing with extreme couponers. I haven't had a chance to contact corp. yet. Work has been crazy.

That bites, is there another store close enough by you that you could go to instead? I know with gas prices that makes it harder but if your shopping would be more pleasant, it would be worth it. Hopefully if enough shoppers call about him, there will be changes made, wishing you a great outcome with it.
Reminder to myself to be grateful to the 3 I shop at, all are great and close to home.
