If you purchased the contacts at an actual office (not on-line) try contacting the office and asking them to contact their Coopervision rep for you. Perhaps the rep can intervene on your behalf.
I am going back and forth with Coopervision over a $40 rebate on my contact lenses I purchased on 1/7/11! The rebate needed to be postmarked within 60 days of purchase. I mailed on March 5 at my main post office and had three people see me put it in the box. Coopervision is claiming it was postmarked 3/12. I have asked to see a scan of the envelope postmark but they say they are not allowed to return anything. I have not asked for it to be returned - just want proof of their claim that it didn't meet the deadline. I told them I was certain of the date and I expect to be paid - we'll see where this goes. I am like a dog on a bone - I am not giving up on this one! This is absolutely fraudulent!![]()

I got gypped on a rebate for my pressure cooker a while back... I raised holy heck with them. I made a public post (like yours) and sent them a link. It was less than a week later that I went to the mailbox and VOILA. I had money. :) I think they didn't like the public negative feedback. haha
Just another nobody in the midst of all the somebodies.
Always mail rebates via certified mail - that way, you can prove the date that they received it on, as you will get back a signed receipt showing a date stamp.
Also, make front & back photocopies of everything you mail out to them - the rebate form, the receipts with date of purchase circled - everything.
Rebate is a huge scam in general, they often make false claims to deny the money.
If it's within a few days of the postmark date I always go into the post office and hand deliver it and ask that they post mark it immediately.

The won't send me a scan of the postmark - that tells me that there is something fraudulent going on. I received another email from them that my request has been escalated for further review and to allow 7-10 days for resolution.![]()
Oh that truly reeks. That's a big chunk of change and now I'm sure you are stuck with a ton of those contacts that you sure don't feel like using.
Try googling and see if others have had the same problem and if so you can use that as support in your endeavors.
Let them know that you are not going away until they issue the rebate.
If the rebate paperwork was issued at the doctor's office I would notify them.
Wait, I googled "Coopervision denies rebate." Check this out:

I'd tell them if they don't send you your money or provide a copy of the postmark, you're reporting them to the State Attorney General (or whoever) and the BBB. I'd actually check the BBB website now and see if they have any complaints against them...
