Store Refusing To Accept Coupons or Honor Their Coupon Policy

I wouldn't wait for him to call. I would call myself and note who I spoke to and exactly what they said.

If he won't do it your easy way, take your huge family in there every night, shelf clear and do one giant congo line at the register. Maybe he'll learn the next time to listen to you.

In the economy we're in, stores have to be hurting too & they would be losing $100.00 for the laundry detergent alone. So, while I understand why it would upset you, I also understand their position because so many are taking advantage of sales these days & that affects them & how much they can afford to sell at these prices.

My biggest fear is that stores will stop doing things like doubling coupons, and/or manufacturers will stop issuing generous coupon amounts. Because it does seem stores can "lose" from transactions such as these. They can also have problems with one shopper clears out their shelves of certain items, leaving none for anyone else.

I support couponing but I think we couponers have to be careful that we don't make stores mad - they might start implementing stricter policies.

The one nice thing...is this store prices are crappy...so the only way on earth you would go there (and trying to save money) is for the double coupons. Otherwise everyone will drive on over to Walmart and save them some $$

Been to 3 of the stores that the OP is speaking of and hello...prices were beyond crap for nearly everything.

CW&M Mom- You REALLY aren't joking about their prices! I won't step foot in that store unless it has anything to do with a coupon. I'd MUCH rather deal with rude people and long lines at walmart if it means saving money!

Can you price match the sale at walmart?

The stores around me have limits, so I wouldnt' try it and wouldn't be upset. However, if they didn't have a limit, yeah I wouuld be severely annoyed. I don't think I would go over the managers head because I wouldn't want to take the chance of being blackballed from the store. If its a chain store, I'd go to as many different stores as it took, untill I got what I needed.
