Coupon Trains-Am I doing them wrong/expecting too much

LOL Digi!!! Yes, the kids let me get a little time to answer messages on here, they are in rare form today though - normally we have a rather calm house.

my screen name - I go by melli IRL, and the first half is chitown, which probably should have a hyphen in it because you could read that in ways that could make it sound REALLY funny - however lol - I am from Chicago and super proud of it, many of us call it chi-town, and there we have it, chitownmelli is me :) :) :)

As for hubby - give him time, once you hit a big haul that includes something for him, and he can really see where the savings are in this whole thing, he might very well come around - or not, but may accept it as just something you do. Sorry he's being a doodie about it.

oh dont take that personally. i know it makes it easier for me! when i do trains, i do go thru the links...especially the ip's...but unfortunately some of those ip's are found to be dead, so i have to continue on.

but sometimes i am a little lazy.

yup me too. best if you are looking for something specific to put it in the top....or if you have something to trade put that there....i put my haves that i just found in the trading forum and then ask for my wishlist items . and dont be afraid to say i need this coupon specifically and if you need help look at the database for exact coupons and where they came from or even a search of ebay will lead to some good options for a want list.

Ahhh, don't worry, first, Melli and Kristi (dominicsmom) ROCK.. really GREAT mods! I'm taking a break.. i got frustrated too.. I just was not getting what i needed, but.. its a tossup.. bc sometimes its really really good and sometimes, its frustrating. I spent a lot of time too, and then would get sloppy envies and be upset.. then and not proud of this, my own started getting not as good. Plus, i had some health stuff..
Anyway, I looked at your list, I love wishlists! lol and the other can drive me nuts, lol (database, but i see its helpfulpness... at times..)

I was amazed at people thought they had great lists, and all they had were inserts from mags, peelies, rebates.. and nothing from sunday paper..or just like 20 items.

I think it depends how many are in your family, how much time you have, etc. Like i said the mods rock, and how organized your are, lol.
Keep w/ it.. I've lost soo much money, lately by not couponing as much, duh..It just takes time
