I agree with Huckabee. When young people see a movie star single & pregnant, they do not put it together that it takes money, time, a home & help to raise a child. They look up to these movie stars & want to be like them.
This country would be in much better shape if we looked at single parents as something that happens to some unintentionally, but not something that should be done intentionally. It sends the wrong message to our youth.
And isn't he correct? Most single mothers are indeed without gobs of money & are constantly struggling to make ends meet. I don't see how that is stereotyping. It's the cold, hard, facts. I don't know of a single woman or young lady that was single &
not on public assistance with their children at some point in their lives & I've known many.
How about you, Dug? How many single parents do you know that never needed a dime from our government to make it?
