You know if she wasn't such a nit whit she might of been able to come into the light and had a better chance at getting some money while laughing it off sending her own copy of the video to Americas Funnies Videos. Instead I think she is going about it all the wrong way just giving the media a chance to tell all about her. All her past and what not shes making her self out to be a big joke! She should of just kept walking away and let it go. Now she has more attention and everyone knows all her business the laugh sure is at her expense ha ha ha!!

I once fell down a flight of stairs in a movie theater. My left knee took the brunt of it as I went down 5 rows of chairs.
I was able to limp out and my husband (then boyfriend) sat me down. I went into shock. He tried to get me help but no one would help. I got to the car and the hospital.
Yes, it was my fault that I fell down. However, sitting there in shock with all the employees ignoring me when we asked for help was inexcusable.
The theater paid all my medical bills plus my time off to avoid a lawsuit. I did not think it was necessary but they insisted.
I agree it was completely inexcusable in your situation, and I'm glad things worked out for you. That's unbelievable.
Walking While Stupid didn't seem to be harmed, though, and she did not appear to be asking for any help. It seemed like she was continuing to shop. It also appeared like the maintenance worker did approach to see if she was okay, even though it wasn't right away. She didn't seem to have any problems until she realized, as Michael Scott might say, YouTube came to film it.
My favorite part of that ABC interview is at the end where she sniffles with some fake tears and does a mini-PSA for the kids and says something like "I could have been hit by a bus" as her lawyer nods along somberly.![]()
She needs to sue the phone company for providing her the service to text.
