I don't know that for a fact. I just suspect it based on anecdotal evidence of posting here saying that they met the requirements but were rejected anyway.

I am still awating my P&G rebates but still wonder how the op made out, real bummber that the company would try to pull such bs. I hope she will update us. :)

Im very curious, I love reabtes but stinks when they are denied and you know it is all good.

Well op Guess what I got in the mail today?? Yup a rejection letter my first rejection letter ever from a P&G rebate, I sent all 3 recipets from rite aid my purchases totalled & 70+ reason my rebate was denied was not enought purchases ha ha ha yeah righ so I called and talked to the rep I explaned every thing to her I sai all I can figure was the one processing my rebate looked at all the items i filled in the upc's for It was buy 1 get 1 half off at rite aid I told her I entered all the upcs just dint have enought space for all the prices I said I thought that is where they would have totaled my recipt totals eveything was on it plane as day She told me to re subbitt it I was like WTH but hopefully I will get the check back fast, How did you make out any update for us?

Many companies are dishonest about rebates.

If the rebate were for a significant amount of money, I would mail it certified (so they have to sign for it, also proves the date they received it) and I would photograph everything before putting it in the envelope.

I did the rebate for olay last year and never heard a thing back from it..I even spent more than I had to by like $10....

The problem is, a majority of rebates are sent to PO boxes, so nobody there to sign if you send certified. I have been rebating for years now, 10+ and just a few times stick out that I was denied. Once my state was not included (though the form did not state that) and the other was the Olay rebate last year, which was made right. I make photocopies of everything, and if I don't get my rebate in by the stated time frame, I'll give a call. Also, there are a few sites you can track your rebates, from them receiving it, to when the ck was mailed out to you. I've never had a rebate get lost, and I keep miticulous track of what I send and receive.
