I think it is important to remember not generalize about the employees that work for WAGS. It is truely different from store to store, and many times a trickle down effect from the Store Manager.
I truely do understand the frustrations of the OP, there are times where these negative experiences can happen at WAGS or any other store.
I do want to mention that out of 5 stores in my area, only one of them is problematic in regard to coupon acceptance and limit interpretations. In general I find that most of the WAGS employees that I encounter are courteous and helpful. I even have one store that has staff that is like family to me, they are the best ever. I hope the Op finds a store like mine.

I love the regular employee's at my walgreens. I have literally never had an issue with them. The assistant managers...I dispise. And I really like the manager of the store.

The assistants though...have eliminated most of my money spent at WAGS. I choose to go elsewhere now for most of it. And it's there loss.

I do agree that not all wags employees are like that my closest store has awesome cashiers. And maybe I will just stop going to the others and just go to the one closest to me..

This past weekend, I saw something at Walgreens that I had never seen before -- a cashier helping customers with their Register Rewards. She was helping customers identify the products that would generate RR and processing those on an initial transaction and then using the RRs on a second transaction to minimize OOP.

I was impressed, because you never see an associate who really understands the process and she did it in a way that most customers (meaning not us) would understand (and profit from).
