Default I will never feel bad for eating McDonalds again...

Cause at least they don't have the saltiest restaurant foods out there.

They only made the list once...for a breakfast meal. Seriously folk...check out the entire list and see how much salt you have been eating..

    1. Saltiest Food in America

    P.F. Chang’s Wok Charred Beef

    10,045 milligrams sodium
    850 calories
    30 g fat (15 g saturated)
Sodium Equivalent = 31 Slabs of Hormel Canadian Style Bacon
Here are a few things with less salt than this sodium-sunk beef blowout: 244 Saltine crackers, 40 bags of Funyuns, 175 cups of Newman's Butter popcorn, and 28 orders of McDonald's large French fries. It’s shocking that one of Chang’s leanest dishes is a huge strip steak, normally a heavy hunk of beef. It’s also abnormally low in sodium—at least for a restaurant whose entire menu is awash in salt.

All I have to say is I'm glad I don't like Panera Bread or PF Changs. The only item listed I think that I would ever eat is the Burger King meal and the Subway sandwich (however I have never had either of those even).

Gulp. I've had about 5 Taco Bell Grilled Stuft Burritos in my life but I guess that's it for me. The only thing on the list that I've had.

I've never eaten any of those...except the Burger King Chesseburger and fries...and it's been ages since I had one. lol Don't have most of those restaurants up here. Have you ever looked at those Jimmy Dean bowl things in the freezer case? I call those "Heart Attack in a Bowl". Between the sodium and fat contents, you can feel your arteries hardening. Those Bob Evans things aren't any better.

I'm a label reader and have been for a long time. There's not processed food I buy as they all seem to have nasties in them....sodium, saturated fats, TVP, MSG, HFCS.....it's pretty difficult to buy anything that doesn't have one or more of them in it.

I've never eaten any of those things. But I do really like PF Changs. I don't get those dishes but would imagine that my favorites (Chang's spicy chicken and lettuce wraps) are probably almost as bad. PF Changs has gotten way too expensive recently anyway. Now I have two reasons to not go.

Ick. I have never had any of the items listed. I do love PF Changs though. I always get the almond/cashew chicken. One more reason to not eat out as much.

wow is that nasty. i wish that someone would try to regulate the menu's and push for healthier recipes than what is out there currently. Even if you aren't on a diet or watching any intake...there is no value of eating anything that salt riddled.
