I do MANY rebates ($1200++/YR), NBPR, TMF, Beer purch required etc.....I manage/submit for 6 family addresses with VERY DOCUMENTED spreadsheets, photos, dates, phone #'s....Got a card today for a Blue Moon beer rebate (#101572). Purchase (2) 12-pks OR (3) 6-pks get $5 back. See post #2 for my record.....Called customer service:
Me:
"got this denial, bla bla...."
Response after she looked it up:
"We only have (1) receipt w/(2) 6-pks"
Me:
"I have my records bal bla. How could only half of what was in my envelope be received?" I explained, very politely, my records and what WAS contained in the envie. "I have copies of my 2 recipes, 3 upc's, rebate certificate, and stamped envelope."
Response:
"you must mail your documents so we can verify them...bla bla"
Me:
"I do not want to spend more postage to receive my $5 rebate when I purchased over $25 worth of the indicated product."
I was not accepting that I had to mail them. So, she ends up giving me a fax number I can send my copies to with tracking # etc. from my denial card. Attempt the fax 5 times and the line rang with no answer.....Called back and was able to get a complaint line, BUT it was for the product itself. They took my complaint about the rebate center and I was told the info would be forwarded and be taken care of. The gentleman I spoke with was baffled that they claimed only half of the materials in the envelope were received.
Yes, I am absolutely sure of what was contained in my envie. I fill out all info, package my rebate submissions, take them back out of the envies, re-check all info, photograph/enter them into my database, re-stuff the envie, seal, send.
I have to call on some (CMS rebate center) of my rebates, but have never had issues like this. Usually my info is looked up and was read/entered wrong, or whatever and the issue is corrected. I have been asked if I had records, specific products, dates, etc, but never been asked to submit them....
I googled MillerCoors to try and get other contacts and see they have a class action lawsuit against them regarding some other rebates...

Wow, "You Go Girl" for having all of that handy and in one place just in case you ever needed it.
Hopefully things will work out for you on this one. I dislike sooo much calling companies and getting their "customer service" C/S my butt... Its lousy everytime I get someone.

I have been denied so many rebates, it makes me want to quit doing them, but I will keep trying.
